Service: Pismo Beach Veterinary Clinic
Growing up in a small town, it's difficult to break the cycle of "going to the same vet your parents always did" etc., etc. However lately I was beginning to feel that no matter what was needed, a trip to my previous vet meant a $300 bill every time. It was beginning to be a financial strain. When I took our Scottie with "skin issues" and possible arthritis to Dr. Joel Conn, we were given solutions with results, and even some advice for supplements that might make her less susceptible to these things in the future! And guess what? I left with a vaccination, exam, nail trim and teeth check-up, all for far less than my previous Vet would have charged!! ... more »
Restaurant: Yanagi Sushi & Grill
As a busy family we frequently have to rely on take-out when the day
becomes a little bit too hectic. Luckily, we have Yanagi just a few
blocks from home and office. They are awesome when it comes to speedy
and fresh take-out -- everything from the true, quality Sashimi that my
husband and son love to the more elaborate rolls -- like my mom's
favorite Philadelphia Roll. And even something for the sushi neophytes
like my dad -- a Crunchy Roll, Golden California Roll or some yummy
fried rice or light and crispy Tempura ... more »
Testimonial: Bruce & Kathy Divelbiss
My wife and I found Ashlea & Kathi to be extremely helpful in both the transaction and most importantly in locating local people to do the inspections and remodeling work needed on the property. Every referral they offered produced a local reliable contractor who met or exceeded our expectations and was below our cost constraints, and they often followed up to make sure the contractor work we requested was completed correctly and on schedule ... more »
Retail: Mail Plus
Typically a mail box rental, notary and shipping business doesn't really
call to mind "fun", but somehow the always-smiling Mrs. Teri Bayus and
her staff make a necessary stop seem like a social visit. We
regularly use Mail Plus for our business mail-outs, returns and so
forth. But where her and her staff really shine is when advising you
which last-minute shipping option will be the most cost-effective while
also getting the parcel to the right place on time. And since I am
almost running in the door with my parcels the day AFTER they should
have been shipped, boxed in the wrong package and with a partial
address, her staff has to be credited with an endless amount of
patience ... more »
